Doctors

yvonne-walker-smallDr Yvonne Webb MBChB, MRCGP
Yvonne Walker has recently moved to Luton having been a GP in Edinburgh for the past 7 years. She studied medicine at the University of Aberdeen, then trained in the central belt of Scotland, before completing her training as a GP in Surrey.

In addition to general practice, Yvonne is also trained in Acupuncture and is involved in training medical students and future GPs. Since the birth of her son she has developed a particular interest in looking after new mums and child health.

Dr Anthea BondDr Anthea Robinson MBBCh, DRCOG
Anthea was born in Stoke -on Trent and grew up in the Midlands. She graduated from Birmingham University and has been a full-time GP for 16 years in Hertfordshire.

She enjoys general practice very much and has a special interest in mental health and psychiatry in all age groups. Interests outside work include reading, yoga and dancing.

Practice Manager

Lorraine Swain is responsible for the day to day running of the practice. She is generally available between 9 – 5pm Monday to Friday to help with any administration or non-medical aspects of your health treatment and to discuss any suggestions or complaints you may have.

Practice Nurse

Janice Beadsworth is our Practice Nurse and is very experienced in Chronic Disease Management for conditions such as Asthma, Diabetes and Heart Disease. She is also responsible for our travel vaccinations, smear tests, baby immunisations and smoking cessation programme.

Healthcare Assistant/Phlebotomist

Sandra Ellis is our Healthcare Assistant and her duties include conducting new patient health checks, checking blood pressures and performing ECGs (heart tracings). She is also a trained phlebotomist and takes blood for our registered patients at the practice.

Midwife

Dawn Jones – You will be referred to a midwife once your pregnancy has been confirmed. The Midwife will then make contact with you and arrange a visit.

Health Visitors

Our Health Visitors share the same building and are easily available. Children under 5 can be referred quickly if required.
